Baby, check this out, it’s Blurred Future’s debut self-titled album ;)
Same Story (track4) draws you in with calm, driving guitar tones, lofi vocals, then knocks you on the head with a screaming synth solo as you continue the night drive that is Blurred Future. The whole tune is really organic in my eyes, it flows, changes feel and key effortlessly..it’s one of those songs that you just want to listen to over and over again.
Then you want to dance. You MUST dance! C2D (track5) comes on and your toes just start TAPPING AWAY BITCH!! Epic guitar harmonies control the mood, delay-infused, ethereal MELONS OF SOUND just get your goat. Joey, Scotty, and Nick have definitely been listening to 80s jams with these synth grooves that keep coming up!
This dream/before I awake is a perfect ending to the album. The band once again draws you in with floating, open chords then smacks ya socks with an awesome dance groove. I love these loops, you just want to dance, and when you’re driving along at 1AM and still have an hour to go, give Blurred Future a listen.
